Movie Verdict

Although the filmmakers of Sammathame claim to be telling a unique story, it becomes clear within the first ten minutes that it is a typical love story.
The film’s climax, which was discussed in an interview and depicted on screen with skill, was effective. Before moving on to emotions, there were some entertaining scenes and their love in the first half. When coping with emotions, you may feel as if something is missing.
Appropriately addressing a novel perspective on relationships is commendable, but the director should have crafted more impactful scenes to drive home the point.
Kiran Abbavaram is a fantastic Krishna because he has experience portraying characters from the middle class and handled the role with ease. Chandini is adequate as Saanvi due to her character’s lack of depth and flatness, but the other actors performed admirably in their respective roles.
Author Gopinath Reddy makes a valid point, but his writing only partially holds your interest.
Sammathame fails technically, and the cinematography by Sateesh Reddy Masam is merely adequate. In contrast, the background score of Shekar Chandra’s music is excellent because it enhances the film’s mood.
If you enjoy family dramas and love stories, you should watch Sammathame.
