Jaganannas’ Vidya Kanuka to be launched on Thursday

AP CM YS Jagan Mohan is to launch in Punadipaadu in Krishna District

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan is going to launch the Jagananna Vidya Kanuka program on Thursday for government school students. YS Jagan Mohan will be launching this program at Punadipaadu government school in Krishna District and distribute the kits to students. The State ministers, MLAs, government representatives will distribute the kits to government students in several parts across the state.

The State Education Minister has cautioned the education department, comprehensive training authorities with COVID guidelines in conducting this program.  The State Government has initiated this program to encourage the students to study and make them study at government schools and maximize the student’s ratio at schools.

The AP CM YS Jagan himself has verified the quality of kits and not compromised on product quality which is offered to students and approved them.

42.34 lakhs students will be given kits

Around 42,34,322 students across the state will be given the students’ kits worth of around Rs. 650 crores. The students’ kits will be given to students from Class I to X or 10th class. The kits consist of three pairs of school uniforms, one pair of shoes, two pairs of sacks, a belt, one set of academic books, notebooks. 

Every student will be given three masks due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  Students who are studying at Government schools will be given the school kits.  Due to Corona, the state government of Andhra Pradesh has kept postponing the school kits several times.

The school authorities have been given all COVID-19 guidelines to adhere to prevent getting affected.  The students are being imparted online classes due to the corona pandemic.
