Movie Verdict

Not only is Sivakarthikeyan an actor, but he is also the film’s producer and songwriter. The plot of Don is scarcely original, as several films have dealt with college life, student issues, etc., but what made Don intriguing was the comedy. You could have watched the humor for two and a half hours without becoming bored. Aside from that, this film lacks emotions, and the director fails to incorporate them.

After approximately 15 minutes, the film devolves into a normal collegiate drama, despite a promising beginning. During the proceedings, however, director Cibi Chakaravarthi addressed one of the major themes of self-discovery, namely that many individuals live for others rather than for themselves, and this point would resonate with a large number of young people.
In the first half, there was nothing new to see, but in the second half, student Don and the Principal began a cat-and-mouse game, and the ending could have been better.
Soori has done justice to his role, Priyanka Arul Mohan is adorable but has little space to shine, and the rest of the cast has played wonderfully. Sivakarthikeyan has nailed the role on film, however, SJ Suryah’s performance as Principle has rendered us speechless.
K.M. Bhaskaran’s photography is not up to par, but Sivakathikeyan and Anirudh have made a successful combo. The remainder of the technical staff performed admirably.
Finally, Don is a film that youngsters must view only once.
