What Is EPIC – First Semester About?
EPIC – First Semester is set against the backdrop of London. The story follows Anand Deverakonda’s character as he moves to London, where he meets and develops a romantic relationship with Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s character.
The film explores their relationship and experiences in a new city, with romance forming the core of the narrative. The title First Semester also indicated that the makers had envisioned the story as part of a larger narrative, with the possibility of a follow-up titled EPIC – Final Semester.
EPIC Box Office Performance
Despite the anticipation surrounding the lead pair, EPIC – First Semester did not perform as expected at the box office and ended its theatrical run as a commercial flop.
The film’s poor theatrical performance has reportedly brought the plans for EPIC – Final Semester to an end. As a result, the first part is now expected to be viewed primarily as a standalone film when it arrives on OTT.
For viewers who missed EPIC – First Semester in theatres, the Netflix release offers another opportunity to watch Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s romantic drama.
With its October 9 OTT premiere and availability in five languages, the film is set to reach a wider audience through digital streaming.
