Movie Verdict
Even if the plot takes a while to get rolling, you will be interested in how it progresses because the premise and tone are intriguing. Due to the lockdown, she is attacked throughout the city, and the plot thickens when a malevolent entity arrives on the scene and her family attempts to save her. Unlike earlier horror films, the first act of this one was dominated by sorrowful rather than horrifying incidents.
There is no lull in the action, but the abrupt change in pace results in a spectacular twist, after which the film only improves. Despite a few small flaws, the story offers a captivating concept and a number of unexpected plot twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you can endure the 90-minute narration, you will have a wonderful experience.
Nayanthara impresses in her portrayal as a struggling single parent. Her persona had many moving parts, but since they were so skillfully crafted, she was able to execute them with ease. Satyaraj gave his all despite having less screen time than Anupam Kher in his role as a spiritual pastor. Each member of the cast also gave their all.
Connect’s technology is much superior to that of its competitors. Manikantan Krishnamachary transfers the reader to the realm of Connect and helps them feel at ease by using brilliant colours and intricate images. The remaining members of the technical team implemented the plan beautifully, and Prithvi Chandrasekhar did an excellent job with the score.
Connect is an excellent tale in the same style. Instead of focusing on frightening things, he examined how people felt during a lockdown while still including his signature plot twists. Even if Connects lacks the same level of acute dread as Mayuri or Game Over, the director is still capable of evoking emotion in the spectator.
Ashwin Saravanan is frequently startled by the creativity of his writings, despite the unsettling subject matter. His exceptional writing talents enabled him to accomplish this.
Connect is an excellent film that everyone should view at least once.
