Mayadevi takes place against the backdrop of a spooky forest. Much research is carried out and a film is also made on this place which is haunted by the soul of a married woman named “Maya”. On the other hand, Mayadevi (Sharmiela Mandre), is a single mother who works as a junior artist in commercials.
